I want to create an item that makes you feel good when you wear it, and gives you energy when you wear it.

With this in mind, we named it MATHILDA.


It's a simple product so it's easy to use.

The leather used is original calf leather "Dutch tarwe calf" tanned in Himeji.

They are soft and elastic, and have a refined sheen. As you wear them, you will notice them conforming to the shape of your feet.

When it comes to the simple design of side gore, the choice of leather is extremely important.

We have created shoes that you will grow to love more and more with each wear, and that you will want to wear for a long time.

We want you to experience the joy and depth of leather's natural aging process.
We have developed a new leather this season.

This is original calf leather tanned in Himeji, a traditional leather production area in Japan.
The raw leather is made from high-quality calf leather from the Netherlands using the traditional tanning method.
Of course, we are particular about the raw hides, but above all, we have focused on the tanning (leather making) method and dyeing.

Chrome tanned leather usually has a uniform pigment finish, which makes the surface of the leather more stable, but it is less resistant to aging.
On the other hand, tannin tanning has the characteristic that the ingredients react and the leather becomes glossier over time, but wrinkles remain.
Due to its characteristics, tannin tanning tends to make the leather a little hard, but here, the tanners (leather factories) have used their many years of experience and water to create flexible tannin tanned leather.
This wild leather is very rare to be used for women's shoes.

In addition, the surface is finished using only dye to prevent the leather from changing over time with use, so the cream penetrates well and the leather will darken with care, giving it a beautiful appearance.

Although the tanning method is time-consuming, we decided to produce calfskin leather because we wanted people to enjoy the changes that occur in the leather.

At La Poche, it is used for ANNE and MATHILDA.

The shaft (around the ankle) is a little narrow. It's leather so it's comfortable, but it may be difficult for men to get their feet through.
The boots also contain plenty of cushioning, making them soft and comfortable to wear, but we recommend choosing a half size larger than your actual size.
